About me
Since graduating with a B.Sc Honours Degree in 1986, I have worked in IT for a number of British and American Blue-chip companies, starting as a mainframe programmer, before moving to client-server, and then three-tier internet architectures.
During this time, I have turned my artistic leanings toward web site design, and more recently more general graphic design and photography. Over the past two years, I have been actively learning the 15th Century art of Letterpress, which I find is the perfect tonic to modern computer based artwork techniques.
My current skillset includes HTML, CSS, XML, Flash and PHP. I currently use Adobe Creative Suite 3 and QuarkXPress 7 on an Apple iMac running OS X.
I am married with two sons, and am based just outside Bristol, England. My other interests include studying and imaging the Moon and planets.
